A new feature in google adsense that enables Publishers to allow multiple ad networks to show on their pages.which means that publishers can maximize revenue prominently, and from another hand "Google certified" third-party ad networks will be competing Adword advertizers!
Read more about this launch in google adsense blog .
I think this is really interesting to publishers and they should give it a try to maximize their revenues.

Adsense on radio stations now
A lot of people have reported in their blogs and some forums like DP, that they heard Adsense ads on radio stations particularly in LA and Detroite.
I didn't heard the ads myself yet but what I thought at first is that google is advertising the adsense product itself in radio stations, but it turned out that google has really launched "The Google AdSense for Audio" targeting audio broadcasters in general!!
Adsense for audio:
Adsense for audio can be used by integrating an API extension in your browser which "controls the automated delivery of audio ads to a radio station. During a typical daily traffic cycle, the AdSense for Audio API is used to: notify Google about available (unsold) commercial inventory, determine which available spots Google wants to reserve for audio ads, acquire the actual audio files that will run in the spots, and report the status of ads before and after they air."

will adsense scroll down make change?
I talked previously that adsense is testing the scroll down button on ads now, as it's made official, you can see the ‘next’ ‘previous’ buttons in almost all Adsense ads out there in internet, do you think this would make a change in earnings?
well my answer to this is a big yes, but before go into discussion lets see the theory behind this:
the ‘next’ ‘previous’ buttons are meant to enable viewer change the advertisement if the one showing up doesn't suit him so he'll scroll down to find something he's looking for. anyway, this is a good concept, cause a lot of choices are always better than few.
my first guess is that will increase the clicks a little bit when the user intend to see what this thing is about, as he point the cursor at the ad the scrolling down will teas him to click and see what's next it a mechanic attitude for all internet users we're very used to scrolling down buttons isn't it?
so users will spent a lot more time on the ad what increase possibility of clicking then getting a few more choices will definitely tease him to click it's like saying to him self "what?? non of these stuff interest me?? " ..see?
besides that this feature will save space for other ads or content. bye the way I have seen pages with a 80% adsense ads with almost no content this might a solution for those publishers .
that's just my opinion, feel free to give your thoughts on this.

Adsense Competitive Ad Filter
Adsense Competitive Ad Filter
it's pretty annoying to have your adsense code showing your competitors' sites . you'll lose clients. now with this feature you can filter your ads,you can block specific ads from appearing on your adsense ads. even though adsense ads are highly contextual to the content of your page, in some cases you don’t want to display particular advertisements - for example, something not suitable for the region you're targeting or you may wish to block ads leading to competitors’ sites.
So,to block urls on your adsense :
1- log into your Adsense account.
2- click on the Adsense Setup tab.
3- click on Competitive Ad Filter.
good luck

google got to rethink click fraud rules
this time I want to discuss the google adsense policy regarding click fraud, as you know many publishers got banned for one reason or another but I heard about some others got banned for no reason, I mean that's not due to something they did wrong but it's simply because
they've been victimized by a tough and ruthless policy, and blind sometimes as it is desperately suspecious about quite everything
persuing such policy will eventually leave space for pitfalls.
the toughest rule inadsense TOS I guess, is that when you got suspended there's no chance of coming back you don't have chances to prove you are innocent either duh!
imagine that someone used your PC and clicked your adsense ...that's technically seldom but I'm just citing an example they won't give a chance to explain that and prove to them once you got banned that's for good
I know some of you mates just don't believe those the stories of these people and what they claim but their number is scary .. ...lets take the case of stason.org It comes with copies of emails communicated between Google AdSense and the person accused. lets how injust adsense policy is.

Dictionary of Adsense terms: finally released
Hi again,
I bet you all suffered a bunch of foggy terms when you dealt with Adsense the first time, you know things like (PSA: Public Service Ad, CPC: Cost-Per-Click, CPA ...etc ) . it was kinda tricky for me, to take a firm hold of all of these, when I was newbie to adsense . Now you don't have to worry about that, cause adsense team did a nice job to collected all terms with their explanations and classified them in a nice glossary that covers everything this glossary is called Glossary of Adsense Terms .

adsense trojan !!
A new Trojan has been found recently that attacks adsense ads and replace them buy another ones from unknown server. this Trojan as reported by BitDefender, a software security
This raises many debates as it represents a double threat; for google adsense and its publishers, from another hand, this could explain the steep drop of earnings (the clicks particularly ), reported by many publishers the past couple of weeks .
this will be updated stay tuned !

adsense staff introduced a new cool feature called Ad Review Center. This new feature will allow you to review the ads showing in you sites and ensure they're relevant to your site's users. so If you think an ad is not relevant, you just have to prevent it from appearing again by blocking it in the Ad Review Center.

banned from adsense ?
No matter how you get banned from adsense we all know that once you get banned, you are banned forever no doubt about it.
but is there any solution ?
The answer is, yes. I've seen alot of adsense publihser using another ID after they got banned, that's so normal cause you can always use your wife's name, for example, to create a new account ! but be carful when using the same sites you risk to get banned again. however I'm quite suspecious about this method cause you'll be always on the edge of getting banned.
The better way is to sell your site to someone else, he can use his adsense on it even if it's banned. I can confirm using adsense on a banned site is 100% legal cause adsense seems to ban the publisher himself rather than his sites, proof? read here
Then when you become neat, create a new account with another ID and use it on a new site.

so user will have to click on these arrows to scroll up and down to see more contextual ads while staying on the same page. wow !

adsense earnings dropped because of weak dollar
Adsense earnings will have a steep drop these days as the U.S. Dollar hits its lower record against euro, so even those who receive payment in their local currencies will earn less because the U.S dollar will have a low conversion rates against all currencies eventually.
adsense earning will cut down by 20 % as many experts evaluated, in fact this has already been toched by many publishers, I've seen an unusual earning drop being reported this couple of weeks in many respected forums like digitalpoint.com.
I'm so sorry to bring such a bad news but we have to know my friends .

Adsense Video Units aren't targeted ?
As it was posted previously, Adsense Video Units is in beta mod which means it is under test. It was available for US publishers only then, just recently, reached UK, Ireland and Canada(now it's confirmed for the latter)
Publishers noticed that videos are not relevant to their content, as you know ad relevancy is king in adsense, people wouldn't click through if ads don't match the site's content, I think it's kinda sticky if someone reading a SEO article, finds a dancing man video right under it LOL
Well, this bug seems very normal to me since Video Units is still new , they're still working on it and that's why they didn't make worldwide.
by the way I noticed many other problems like the same ad recurring over and over again and publishers can't see adsense videos until they publish them ..etc
but that's OK it'll be solved very soon you know google daddy is a hard-worker
Anyway just be patient this going to be OK very soon, however feel free to report anything about Adsense Video Units tell me how it worked for you?

targeted advertizing
Targeted ads with adsense ?
a lot of fresh adsense publishers complain that they don’t get any money or just few cents from adsense , when analyzing their adsense reports, they definitely got few or no clicks at all in most cases even if they have a good number of visitors and traffic.
The key issue here is that people are not clicking their ads ! this is most likely due to tones irrelevant ads showing at the face of the user that wouldn’t attract or get him click, imagine that some on is looking for a “ways to make money online ” then he finds a good article which inspires him and make him thirsty to read more in the same topic but he only finds links like “How To Prepare a Low-Fat Thanksgiving Dinner” around that LOL therefore people just recoil and get out of the site immediately ….now what if ads show something user can’t even understand? …etc
now what we can do to get relevant ads from adsense ?
all you have to do to get targeted adsense ads,is to carry out a quick keyword analysis for each article, post or tutorial you submit so that you know which keyword is better to use and which to eliminate…see? For this you have to answer these questions:
- what is best keyword in terms of language and describe your site's product exactly.
- how much does adsense pay for a given keywords? so you have to look for high paying keywords.
- how often do people shoot for a given keyword ? which is know as “keyword popularity”.
let’s see how can we do all this :
1. start brainstorming for my keyword possibilities , let’s say I’m writing an article about “adsense secrets” you can find many other keywords that roughly gives the same meaning like :“adsense tips” and “adsense tips and tricks” “adsense tutorials”…etc to get that just google your keyword and random click some pages you will get some ideas
2. now we have to check how much does adsense pay for these keywords and pickup the high paying one for sure to do that just use a google tool called Google Adwords Keyword Tool I entered the term ‘adsense secrets’ which seems to me good to me and clicked get more ideas :

As You see that google keyword analyzer suggested another keywords so you can use this for keyword brainstorming too.
You have to consider the first chart “advertiser competition” and pick up the best one among your keywords
I just find that “adsense secrets ”and “adsense tips” have a very high paying but very low competition for “adsense tutorials” so just eliminate the latter
3. Now after finding two high paying keywords now let’s check keyword popularity to do this just use a nice free software Keyworanalyzer this show you keyword popularity in google, yahoo and MSN
After installing it I put the main keyword which is “adsense ” in my case then click and “add keyword ” I put all the three keywords I have then click “gather data” a dialog box comes just clicked ok:

it turn out that "adsense tips" is lot better than the other keywords people shoot very often for it in google, yahoo and MSN
now as you get your keywords (normally we use many keyword) just play with them use them to get laser sharp relevant ads
put the best one as a title
sec on the subtitle
use some on starting and so on
googel adsense will show very rellevant ads to these keywords
I usually use this method to get adsense targeted ads for few keywords but when I have a large list I use the powerfull tool Keyword Elite that does exactly the same but in large amounts so you could save time
using this toolis very easy just get results from Google Adwords Keyword Tool in a plain text format but rather than copying and pasting into notepad just Scroll down to ‘Download all keywords: text’ and click the link that says ‘text’ to save the keywords to a text file. use this file in Keyword Elite you'll lot of handy results in short time I'll give a detailed tutorial on using Keyword Elite so watch out.
feel free to comment or review how it worked for you
