will adsense scroll down make change?

I talked previously that adsense is testing the scroll down button on ads now, as it's made official, you can see the ‘next’ ‘previous’ buttons in almost all Adsense ads out there in internet, do you think this would make a change in earnings?

well my answer to this is a big yes, but before go into discussion lets see the theory behind this:

the ‘next’ ‘previous’ buttons are meant to enable viewer change the advertisement if the one showing up doesn't suit him so he'll scroll down to find something he's looking for. anyway, this is a good concept, cause a lot of choices are always better than few.
my first guess is that will increase the clicks a little bit when the user intend to see what this thing is about, as he point the cursor at the ad the scrolling down will teas him to click and see what's next it a mechanic attitude for all internet users we're very used to scrolling down buttons isn't it?
so users will spent a lot more time on the ad what increase possibility of clicking then getting a few more choices will definitely tease him to click it's like saying to him self "what?? non of these stuff interest me?? " ..see?

besides that this feature will save space for other ads or content. bye the way I have seen pages with a 80% adsense ads with almost no content this might a solution for those publishers .

that's just my opinion, feel free to give your thoughts on this.

Adsense Competitive Ad Filter

Adsense Competitive Ad Filter

it's pretty annoying to have your adsense code showing your competitors' sites . you'll lose clients. now with this feature you can filter your ads,you can block specific ads from appearing on your adsense ads. even though adsense ads are highly contextual to the content of your page, in some cases you don’t want to display particular advertisements - for example, something not suitable for the region you're targeting or you may wish to block ads leading to competitors’ sites.

So,to block urls on your adsense :

1- log into your Adsense account.
2- click on the Adsense Setup tab.
3- click on Competitive Ad Filter.

good luck

google got to rethink click fraud rules

hi mates ,

this time I want to discuss the google adsense policy regarding click fraud, as you know many publishers got banned for one reason or another but I heard about some others got banned for no reason, I mean that's not due to something they did wrong but it's simply because
they've been victimized by a tough and ruthless policy, and blind sometimes as it is desperately suspecious about quite everything
persuing such policy will eventually leave space for pitfalls.

the toughest rule inadsense TOS I guess, is that when you got suspended there's no chance of coming back you don't have chances to prove you are innocent either duh!

imagine that someone used your PC and clicked your adsense ...that's technically seldom but I'm just citing an example they won't give a chance to explain that and prove to them once you got banned that's for good

I know some of you mates just don't believe those the stories of these people and what they claim but their number is scary .. ...lets take the case of stason.org It comes with copies of emails communicated between Google AdSense and the person accused. lets how injust adsense policy is.

Dictionary of Adsense terms: finally released

Hi again,

I bet you all suffered a bunch of foggy terms when you dealt with Adsense the first time, you know things like (PSA: Public Service Ad, CPC: Cost-Per-Click, CPA ...etc ) . it was kinda tricky for me, to take a firm hold of all of these, when I was newbie to adsense . Now you don't have to worry about that, cause adsense team did a nice job to collected all terms with their explanations and classified them in a nice glossary that covers everything this glossary is called Glossary of Adsense Terms .
